While the data center industry has been buying offsite renewable energy for years, Halo has developed a proprietary approach to integrating onsite solar with data center power load in order to reduce energy costs while increasing reliability. We believe that this is the only truly sustainable approach to meet the needs of the growing AI, data mining, and blockchain sectors.

With a background in power generation project development, Halo launched its first datacenter in 2021. This early project served as the test bed for many of the ideas used today in each self powered Halo data center.
